GregO on 95.7 The Spot for 3 more years

Greg “GregO” Onofrio will continue for three more years as the 95.7 The Spot KKHH on-air talent and brand ambassador.
“We are thrilled that GregO is continuing on with 95.7 The Spot,” says 95.7 The Spot program director Melissa Chase. “He is a beloved personality in Houston, a recent Texas Hall of Fame inductee, and he has helped the station achieve and maintain its position among the top adult stations in the market. We look forward to many more years of this successful partnership between GregO and The Spot.”
Grego joined 95.7 The Spot in 2019.
As the only voice on the groundbreaking KKHH, GregO was also the voice of CW39 KIAH’s boundary-pushing anchorless newscast NewsFix running from 2010 to September 2018.
GregO first delighted Houston radio listeners on legendary AOR rocker 101 KLOL starting in 1989. As the first “Head Outlaw,” GregO hosted the morning-like show at night, “Outlaw Radio,” which broke the traditional radio rules.
These career defining broadcasting positions put GregO on the path to the Texas Radio Hall of Fame class of 2021.
“It is a wonderful feeling to be recognized by your peers for doing something you have dedicated your life to and that you love,” Grego told rock101movie.com at the time.
This 95.7 The Spot contract extension takes GregO into his 5th decade as a broadcaster.
