Runaway Radio featured in the Houston Chronicle’s ‘the 30 Houston films every Houstonian should see’ article
Thanks to Cary Darling and the Houston Chronicle for including ‘Runaway Radio’ in the article “From ‘Urban Cowboy’ to ‘Boyhood,’ the 30 Houston films every Houstonian should see.”
Who would have thought we’d be mentioned on the same page as ‘Terms of Endearment’ or ‘Boyhood!’
The 101 KLOL documentary has won three awards at the 47th Annual Telly Awards, two at the 32nd Annual Communicator Awards, and the prestigious Texas Independent Film Award (TIFA).
We’re taking a break and won’t be doing a 10-1 screening at River Oaks Theatre this year, but 2027 is always an option!
You can watch the film on Tubi, rent it from your favorite streamer, or buy a physical copy with extras on DVD.
